Week of 5/22: Study guide for the semester exam:
Due 5/22: Q4 final presentation is Monday, May 22. You should use the organizer completed on Thursday to prepare. You will be graded based on your ability to talk/present about yourself at an I-2+ level. You may use visual aids such as headings and pictures/graphics (Powerpoint, Prezi, or poster board). You may NOT have sentences, phrases, etc. that you are reading.
Week of 4/24: Have a text conversation with a friend (preferably, one of my Spanish students - any period). There must be at least 10 exchanges at at least an I-2+level. You can email([email protected]) the screen shots to me, or show me in class on Monday 5/1.
Week of 4/3: (1) Read La Novia chapters 6 & 7. Write a summary (about a paragraph) about the chapters. Complete all questions for both chapters in complete sentences. (2) Test on La Novia on Friday

Station 1 – Escritura
Turn to p. 139 in the text. In your journal, write out activity 8 completing the blanks with the correct form of the verb. Make sure you underline your answers.
Station 2 – Crear
Make a menu for your own restaurant. Think about what type of restaurant you will have and give your restaurant a name. Your menu must include the following: (a) sections for appetizers (tapas/meriendas/aperitvos), main courses (platos principals), beverages (bebidas), and desserts (postres) (b) you must have 3 items per section (c) each item must have a 1-2 phrase description in Spanish (ex: Biftec con una ensalada y una papa. El biftec es muy sabroso) (d) each item must have a picture and a price.
Week of 11/28: (1) In textbook, read the article on p. 146. Complete comprehension activities (A-C) on p. 147. Annotate your answers! That means, write the evidence for each answer. (2) Vocab quiz Friday (3) Performance assessments Thursday-Friday

Tell her all about a typical Saturday for you.
